Here’s how it works:
Here’s a simple way to list out the steps:
1. Submit a Quick Inquiry – Fill out a short online form to let me know your goals and needs.
2. Get Set Up – I’ll email you a booking link to schedule our first complimentary call to map out your training plan.
3. Meet & Run– We’ll have our call, and then you’re ready to hit the ground running!
“Do I have to stop running?”
I rarely tell my clients they have to stop running. 80% of running injuries can heal while your keep running.
What does coaching with Dr. Ali look like?
My coaching approach focuses on balancing strength building, endurance, and tailored support to meet the muscular demands of long-distance running. We follow a structured, three-phase process to ensure your training is aligned with your needs:
1. Audit – Our first call is all about you. You’ll share what’s been happening with your knee and your training journey so far. I’ll ask detailed questions to get a clear picture of where adjustments are needed to help you reach your goals.
2. Adjust – Based on what you’ve shared, I’ll create personalized adjustments to your training. We’ll focus on building strength and endurance the right way, while also incorporating support strategies that align with your unique training demands and physical needs.
3. Apply – Now it’s time to take the updated plan and put it into action. You’ll start running with the adjusted methods and recovery practices. As we work together, we’ll revisit and refine your training each week, making small tweaks based on your progress until we’ve crafted the perfect approach for you.
“Please know you have helped me so much! I truly feel I am learning to train smarter, not harder! I’m trusting the process and you are so awesome to work with!” - Becky B

How’s it goin?
I’m Dr. Ali
I’m not the kind of coach that just tells you to “rest and ease back into it.” I’m all about giving you step-by-step guidance to get you where you want to go.
I’m a physical therapist with over 12 years experience specializing in knee injury prevention and performance for runDisney runners. I work closely with recreational runners with knee pain training for Disney races to help them cross the finish line without feeling broken.
With a deep understanding of biomechanics and muscle performance combined with the unique challenges of multi day Disney race events, my coaching method balances building strength and endurance with supporting the body’s muscular demands for long-distance training.
My goal is to help runners train consistently without needing extended breaks from running, guiding them through 1-on-1 customized coaching, semi-customized group programs, and individual workout programs designed to fit their specific needs.
